Drag Queens and Eyeliner Part 2

Hey Beauts!
I know it's been a while since I last posted but I just got back from vacation and I'm trying to get back into routine...which is so difficult after such a nice relaxing vacation...
Last time, I showed you my look and my friend Anita's look for our Girls Night Out to a Drag Queen show!
My friend Afiqah had, by far, the most dramatic look of the night and was completely thrilled!
Here's her look:

Now I can't remember exactly what she used for her eyes but I think I do know the key components.
Lid: Baby Blue e/s from Body Shop
Crease and Outer V: Carbon e/s by MAC
L'Oreal Telescopic Liquid Eyeliner in Black
L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes in Black

I think she also used MAC e/l Engraved to tight-line her bottom lash line :)
Very dramatic! :)

Here's some shots from the Show!

Thanks for tuning in for Part 2 ;)
Now that I'm finally back from vacation I will definitely be posting more.

Drag Queens and Eyeliner Part 1

So as you all know I live in Montreal, and here during the summer there is ALWAYS a festival of some sort-sometimes even a few at a time.
My girlfriends and I  decided to go to MASCARA-a drag queen show during the "Montreal Divers/Cite" Festival. We were all amped up and decided to get all girly and dressed up-which means doing our makeup! Wooo! I did the makeup (mostly) for two of my friends that went as well. So this'll be a two part post :)

First here's my look (I'm SO excited about this eyeliner! I love itt!!) :

MAC Ricepaper eyeshadow (all over/browbone)
NYX Champagne eyeshadow (lid)
MAC Satin Taupe eyeshadow (crease)
MAC liquidlast liner in Aqualine
Makeup Forever Mascara in Black
Smashbox Brow Tech in Brunette
MAC Mineral skinfinish in Medium Plus
MAC Bronzer in Matte Bronze
Chanel Reflex Blush
MAC Coquette lipglass

My friend Anita's look was very simple and classy since she doesn't wear my much makeup:

MAC "Big Bounce" Eyeshadow in Trophy
L'Oreal Telescopic eyeliner in Black
Makeup Forever mascara in Black

Anita's look is, again, simple but classy :) This also one of my everyday looks! Trophy is such a versatile colour and one of my most used eyeshadows.

Topless and Barefoot NOTD

Hey ladies,
I'm now waiting in an airport to go to my final vacation destination for the next couple weeks! So posts may be scarce but I'll try to do a few while I'm gone away :)
I wanted to show you guys the NOTD for Topless and Barefoot which came out in the Essie Spring '11 collection. I purchased this one in Spring but hadn't had a chance to try it out yet. It's a beautiful opaque nude and I think it'd be great for any time of year, I'm very happy I got it!

LOVE this colour girls, the only thing I don't like about it is that essie nailpolish tends to crack. These cracks, when wearing a light nailpolish, tend to be very visible and unappealing. Other than that, the colour is very versatile like I said :)

Happy August!
What nudes are your most versatile?
