Bobbi Brown Lip Crayon in Posey-Swatches and Mini Review!

9/13/11

Hey Beauts!
So I've been completely lemming after this Bobbi Brown Lip Crayon (not surprising) after trying it at my girlfriends'! Soo many times I find myself wanting a product after trying a gfs product, which is a great and fairly safe way to try out new cosmetics :)
I ended up falling in love with Posey, a beautiful blue (i think blue) based pink lip crayon. The colour was the FIRST thing I fell in love with, the pink is bright enough that it brightens my face but doesn't make me look like I'm from the 80's-a modern pink you could say ;) . The opacity is amazing, I have medium pigmented lips and all you can see is the colour of the crayon when I put it on!
The best thing about these lip crayons is that you dont need lip liner and they're more precise than lipstick so there's no fear of going beyond the lip line. I also really like that you "draw" on your lips, I just find the handling very easy to use.
The glossiness of the colour stays on for about 3-4 hours but the stain of the colour lasts for much longer- I haven't calculated the exact amount but I dont find myself reapplying this lipstick very much unless its after eating.
The only thing I don't like is the size of the crayon and the price. The size is 0.08 oz and the price (in Canada) is about 31$ with tax.
With that said, would I repurchase this item? Yes, I would repurchase Posey. I haven't tried the other lip crayon colours but I am definitely going to go back to try some more.
