February Favourites

Hey ladies,
Have any of you had a weird experience with Daylight Savings this year? For some reason it screwed up my whole day on Sunday. Now I travel a bunch, and usually jetlag doesn't hit me that hard, and one hour of difference shouldn't hit me at all! No idea what was up with Sunday but minus that one hour of sleep my body was exhausted. Needless to say, I had a super weird day which sort of leaked into this morning. I got out my NYX Femme lipstick and slapped it on but an insta-feel a bit better remedy!
So now after that little rant, I wanted to show you ladies my february favourites, the products that I used most last month. This post may seem kinda late but I'm still swamped with work at grad school, and will be until the end of April.

Revlon liquid Colourstay Foundation-Right now I'm wearing 300 Golden Beige and its great. It's a little darker than my chest but it works rather well, also I'm too lazy to go grab a whole other bottle :P The formula though is amazing!

Lorac blush in Soul Ame-When I first saw this I thought it was an eyeshadow colour! As it could work for either, its primarily marketed as a blush colour. I love the naturally rose pink blush for everyday. Its super highly pigmented and has very fine microshimmers.

Korres eyeshadow in -I love this wine shade, I use it for my crease and outer V to top off an eyeshadow look for various nights out.

Covergirl Lashblast Mascara-This is STILL my HG mascara. Goes on and gives me full lashes for an entire day. Enough said :)

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit- Since it's winter there are some days that I just feel I look so pale. This helps put some warmth back into my face until I can get that nice summer glow!

Sephora Professional Angled Blush Brush-It's a beautiful synthetic bristled brush that makes it a breeze to put on blush and contour with bronzer! I've been using it every day since I got it.

What are your favourites?

  1. Great post - totally agree with you re MAC Mineralize, how great are their skin products!? Thanks for the mascara tip too, am constantly on the hunt for great mascaras, still haven't found one that I would call a 'favourite'!

  2. ooo nice!! i love nyx lipstick too, i find it's pretty good for so cheap! and i love all your picks here except that covergirl mascara just doesn't work for me the way it does for everyone else!

  3. @ Bridgid: I love lashblast! But there are other great mascaras on the market (drugstore and high end) that are great :) you have to find the one that works for you and the look you want to achieve!

@Caitlin: Thank you! I also find NYX to be great if you're trying out new colours.
