Real Review #2 | Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion +

Finding the right moisturizer for your face is a very important component for any skincare routine. I received the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion + in one of my monthly Topboxes.
At first, I started out being a fan of it but as time went on I realized it was really not right for my combination/normal (and sometimes acne-prone) skin. It moisturizes my face, but it does give my T-zone an oilier boost and I feel as though it's heaviness really clogged my pores. I didn't break out horribly while using this, but I did notice more whiteheads and blackheads during it's time in use. I'm not sure of its "dramatic" effects, but I didn't find it as "deep" moisturizing as I would've liked.

The colour of the profit is a off white, almost yellow, but it sheers out as you apply it to your face. The texture is a little thick, thicker than some of my other moisturizers. I don't like the scent of Clinique moisturizers, and this one is no different. Supposedly it doesn't have a scent, but you can smell a faint synthetic scent form it, which I'm not a fan of.

- Affordable price point at about $33 CAD for full size
- Very moisturizing: good for dry and normal skin
- Packaging in full format is in pump format

- Synthetic smell
- Overly moisturizing for combination skin
- Thick formula
- Easily dupe-able with a drugstore formula

I will definitely not be purchasing the full size of this product as it's really not suited for combination/normal skintypes. I usually have decently normal skin with a bit of an oily T-zone, and this exacerbates the oily-ness while only lightly moisturizing my cheeks, instead of deep moisturizing - as I was more expecting. Although, I do think the results may be different on a drier skin type.

Have you ladies tried this product?
