Real Review #6 | Klorane Shampoo With Nettle Oil-Absorbing

Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Klorane's Shampoo with Nettle Oil-Absorbing was definitely a miss for me.
I have quite a bit of hair on my hair, mostly lots of thin strands, and it gets oily after 24hours of washing. I was hoping to find a shampoo that would delay that process by another 12-24 hours.
Klorane's Shampoo with Nettle Oil-Absorbing was not that product, instead of leaving my hair fresh and fluffy and oil-free, my hair fell totally flat and even got oilier after about 16-20 hours. It does absorb the oil but it does not prevent hair from becoming greasy - the roots become oily at a faster rate.
The texture of the shampoo is very very watery and thin, it takes quite a bit of product to feel a genuine lather. When I used less shampoo with barely any lather, my hair became oilier even faster than the 16 hour mark.
The colour is a deep pine green:

I'm not sure if it's the result of the food-colouring or the nettle ingredient?
The packaging is standard aside from the fact that this bottle is "flatter" than most shampoo bottles.
The price-point is mediocre, it's high end but it's not exactly drug-store cheap either. This bottle had 40% more than the standard bottles as a bonus and is priced at about 12$CAD a pop. For a shampoo that doesn't do much, is it a somewhat expensive price.

-mid-range price point
-washes oily roots

-the consistency is watery
-because of texture, you need twice the amount of shampoo
-roots become oilier faster: not what product says it does!
-hair falls flat: shampoo takes away any volume
-personally dislike pine green colour

Would I repurchase this shampoo? Definitely not and I encourage you not to. I found it was a waste of money when a regular non-oil-absorbing shampoo does a better job by far. This also isn't the cheapest shampoo, so it's not worth the small splurge. Klorane usually has nice hair product, but this definitely misses the mark.

Have you ever tried Klorane's Shampoo with Nettle Oil-Absorbing?
