Real Review #9 | Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum

What a week! I've been travelling and doing like things non-stop - like a crazy person. I've finally caught a mild bug, which is basically my body's way of telling me to slooooow down. What can I say? I like my busy/crazy lifestyle! However, I digress, as I did want to review the Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum since it's been a great help to my skin during the Winter/Spring/Summer season change. Montreal doesn't have a "real" Spring, we have a couple of weeks of what feels like Spring and then it goes straight into Summer. As you can imagine, this change can be a real shock to the skin. Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum is the perfect answer to all that, as it hydrates the skin without adding any extra topical oils. Once you apply it, it absorbs right away into the skin almost akin to a primer but much lighter. It's sort of like the friendly ghost for your face, you don't notice a huge difference after you apply it but the long-term effects are noticeable. The product is white straight out of the tube but it clear upon use: I use about a dime-size amount for my whole face. I had acquired a sample size of this product since I purchased it with my Sephora points, but the full size [30ml/1oz] bottle is a glass bottle with a dropper-style cap - similar to beauty oil packaging. The price is pretty steep for this one at $52CAD a pop.

-great additional moisturizer: a great serum on the skincare market
-very light on the skin/does not clog pores
-full size packaging is luxurious and includes a dropper
-delivers on it's promises

-steep price point

There aren't many cons for this product, if I wasn't trying to finish a couple of my beauty oils, and if the price were a little more manageable, I would whole-heartedly purchase the full size.
