Julep Tammi Nailpolish | Lime Green Polish: Yay or Nay?

When it comes to colour, I'm pretty fearless. I'll wear it, put on my face and on my nails - colour is great anywhere. There are times, however, when I stumble upon a colour that I love but that doesn't suit me so well. Just like the Julep Tammi Nailpolish: a vibrant lime green with small silver and green/yellow shimmers. On the Julep site it's described as a "Lemongrass green shimmer". In my opinion, it's more green-tinted in person than on the site. I used about two coats, and it does come off a little more sheer than expected on the first coat, but after two coats it's opaque.

This colour is absolutely fresh and beautiful, but on me it looks a little sallow. This colour is definitely better on those with tan or darker skin. I'm all for the deep greens: jade, pine, etc, but the light greens are just no good on me - especially on my nails!
