Real Review #17 | Julep Oxygen Nail Treatment

Ever since I've signed up for my Julep Monthly Maven box, I've been eager to try any new beauty product they launch. When I first signed up for the site, I was mega excited about the Julep Oxygen Nail Treatment as it is supposed to help with chipping and brittle nails.

I tend to keep my nails short so that they don't thin out and break as easily, but even as short as they are, during the drier seasons they still tend to chip. Julep's Oxygen Nail Treatment is supposed to deliver oxygen and other nutrients to the exposed nails - causing them to chip less and be overall healthier. The great part is that is has this slight pink tint and goes on glossy - so your nails still look done and nicely kept.

I've used it twice now and it has definitely helped my nails grow and stop flaking. I think it's even helped with staining on my nail beds. It's easy to apply and dries very quickly as well. The Nail Treatment has thin to medium thickness in texture - if you're not careful it can go on a bit gloopy. I can only realistically wear it for 4-5 days until it starts chipping itself and then the effect doesn't work as well. It's on the pricier side for a nail polish treatment: 18.00$ for Non-Julep Mavens and 14.40$ for a Julep Maven.

- nails chip and flake less
- can help with nail polish staining
- healthier looking nails
- pink and glossy tint on the nails
- small and cute packaging

- expensive price-point
- can only be purchased online
- can be gloopy when applied

Would I repurchase this product? Yes I would. Despite the high price point this product heals nails and looks good while doing it! You can also just wear it on it's own if you want clear and glossy nails - instead of just wearing a plain clear white polish. It's a win-win, in my opinion.

Have you ladies tried Julep's Oxygen Nail Treatment? Or have you tried a similar nail treatment?
