NOTD | Mary-Lee and Rosie Lee

11/12/14

I recently received the coveted Mary-Lee from Julep in one of my Julep monthly maven boxes. I was eager to try it, and giving in to the holiday spirit, I wanted to add a little bit of sparkle to my mani a la Butter London Rosie Lee.

Is Mary-Lee my favourite vampy colour? It's not, but I love the finish it gives my nails and I've really been enjoying wearing it with Rosie Lee on my ring finger.
Mary-Lee is a very deep burgundy with slight purple undertones, so it's not a true true burgundy. It's described on Julep as an oxblood colour with a satin finish and it's part of the Boho Glam line. I still really enjoy the colour and I can deinitely see myself using this all through Fall and Winter.

With a base coat and my Seche Vite topcoat I'm only starting to see some chips 4-5 days after application.

What nails are you guys sporting for November?

    1. It's a fun brand and I really love their packaging! They also do monthly boxes (that you get to choose from), which I'm signed up for :) Some of their polish formulas are hits and missed though. This one was definitely a hit!
