Weekly Wednesday Reviews #20 - Tony Moly I'm Real Skin Purifying

10/7/15

I used to do a weekly review, named Real Reviews, but that title is a little confusing. I've come to find that I can still have an alliterative title that informative, so I'm re-naming these Weekly Wednesday Reviews, and we're picking it up at number 20 and coming at you each Wednesday! Easy, right? :)

Now, I wanted to review the Tony Moly Sheet Mask in "I'm Real Makgeolli Mask Sheet Skin Purifying". The Tony Moly line seems to be new in the North Americas, originating from Korea. I've seen it pop up at Ulta and Sephora.

I'm most surprised by how much time you can leave this mask on, and its still stays damp! The packaging says 20-30 minutes and I left it on upwards of 30 minutes this time. I figured since it was a mask that glows and adds radiance, it couldn't hurt to leave it on for a bit longer.

The one thing about these masks is that you look like a mummy while wearing them, but, after you're done, the removal process is easy and mess-free. I gently peeled it off and spread the excess product into my skin and neck in massaging motions. In half an hour, it quickly gave my skin a pick-me-up: it felt plump, hydrated and that buzz of a glow from within. Of course these effects last with upkeep.

I also really like the price point of these masks. The Sephora and Boscia sheet face masks are 6$ and 8$ respectively, but the Tony Moly I'm Real Skin Purifying mask retails at only 3.75$ USD. The only thing about the Tony Moly masks I don't like is that most of the instruction and information is in Korean, I would love if they had more information in English!

Pros
- Lower price point
-Accessibility on Ulta and Ulta.com + products at Sephora
- Hydrates skin
- Easy applicable and mess-free removal

Cons
- Information in English
- Only one mask comes in package

I don't have too many serious cons, I'm loving this mask and would definitely repurchase! You can find it in Ulta stores and online at Ulta here.

Have you tried any Tony Moly products? What's your go-to sheet mask?
Recommendations are welcomed!
